Justice sometimes takes time. Unfortunately, regardless of the outcome of this case there will be people who will claim justice has not been done. My only hope is that it is a fair trial.

SANFORD — Tuesday is the anniversary of one of the darkest days in recent Sanford history: the day Trayvon Martin was killed.

Now, a year after the 17-year-old was shot and killed by George Zimmerman on a rainy February night, it is a time for waiting.

Trayvon's mother and father are waiting to see if their son's killer will be convicted and punished.
