Clearly, Stanley Ann did not have the legal ability to claim her son, Barry/Barack as a dependent in 1973.
What the hell does that even mean?
A dependent can only be claimed on one tax return at a time, even if multiple people have the "legal ability" to claim them. Obama was not claimed on his mother's. That says nothing about her "legal ability" to do so.

Almost certainly Stanley and Madelyn Dunham claimed him. I'm surprised that the birthers who requested this tax return didn't request theirs as well. Or maybe they just don't want to share it because it's inconvenient.

What does that have to do with filing tax returns?
haha moronic birther fails again. Barack Obama was living with his grandparents (their dependent) during that time.
Nope. See post #6 in this thread. Obama was living with his mother from 1972 to 1975:

Nope. See post #6 in this thread. Obama was living with his mother from 1972 to 1975:
Stanley Ann and her parents lived together for some time between the years of 1971 - 1973. Stanley's parents were paying for Barack to attend Punahou (since Stanley Ann was attending UH Manoa)
Again, this has no effect on who can legally claim Barack Obama on their taxes. In 1973, it would seem that his grandparents claimed him as a dependent.
Can you provide the tax returns for Stanley and Madelyn Dunham for that year?
Nope. See post #6 in this thread. Obama was living with his mother from 1972 to 1975:
And your answer is in that very link.

Madelyn Dunham's job at the Bank of Hawaii, where she had worked her way up over a decade from clerk to becoming one of its first two female vice presidents in 1970, helped pay the steep tuition,[38] with some assistance from a scholarship.
That's why the Dunham's claimed him as a dependent, and Ann didn't.
Not really. I lived with my parents between the years of 1992-2000. Yet, during this time, I also had my rented my own apartment (for a year), moved back home, moved out again (in 1997), then moved back home, lived on my own again (in 1999), then moved back home.
