RT is a pretty awful source. The US does fare badly on a number of metrics compared to its economic equals, but at least our unemployment isn't as godawful as Spain's or Greece's.
You're kidding right? RT is one of the best news sources around right now, far better than the lamestream US media. And it actually occasionally reports on muslim crime in a fair manner; they did a report on Obama's muslim "rebels" vandalizing churches in Syria and persecuting Christians. Don't know what they were thinking with this one.
The US certainly is one of the better places to live in the world, just heading south rapidly. I'd say any African or Mid Eastern nation ranks as the worst, along with India (900 + M ppl in poverty with backward mentality isn't going to solve itself by launching spaceship). The US unemployment #s are far worse than the official stats, plus you need to keep in mind its population is a lot larger compared to European nations. There are just too many people competing for dwindling resources, plus all manner of social unrest lurking below the surface. It's a bomb waiting to go off.
Not the worst, but heading for a major fall from grace is what I'd say.
Means truth. RT isn't worse than any US news outlet. In fact I'd say it's better and I hate Russians more than you.
I agree. I'm tired of hearing that I live in the "best country in the world" and never hearing about how it ranks consistently low in almost every category. But the worthless US media would rather dedicate an entire week of "news" coverage to a bunch of people who lost power on a boat. I find that RT is taking over the real job of the media in a Republic: lodging meaningful criticism against the government and power structure.
