Depends on how much you make. It is better to be poor in any other OECD country, but it is better to be Rich/wealthy in the USA.
Is this the best way to measure???
Think about it? If a dozen multi-millionaires form their own country on some uninhabited island in the Pacific...and then Bill Gates moves in...this new country now has the greatest income inequality. Yet would you feel bad for those middling people?
The typical American has it better than the solid majority of the countries on this list. Heck, the US people living in poverty have it better than the upper class in some countries.

What measurement would you use? There were quite a few different measurements on that site, but I just chose 1. Again, it depends on what you mean by typical and what class you were born into. Granted, the EU is having a currency/debt problem right now, but if you knew you were going to be poor it would benefit you to be born in a different country than the USA. I can't think of a better country than the USA to be born rich though. The USA has a high PPP per capita, low taxes, expensive healthcare and education, lower quality education, stronger military, etc.
Come to Los Angeles sometime, and I will give you a tour of some real 3rd world type areas right here in "posh" southern California(odd - it never occurred to me to use such a word in reference to my region - underscoring my earlier description of you as uninformed).
There are more eye openers here than you can shake a stck at - and in a liberal city, no less.
Been there, done that. I will pass.
Even living "third world" in Alaska (with no water, no electricity, no services, etc.) is better than living anywhere in "posh" southern California.
Hey please add the entire state of NH! NH is possibly the worst place to live in the world! it's wicked cold right now and when it isn't there is biting bugs big time......
The locals are not even civilized yet!
Come visit Alaska. We can teach you a thing or two about "wicked cold", "biting bugs big time," and the locals are definitely not civilized, but most are at least civil.
Funny how socialist organizations always rank the most socialist countries highest on the list. As if that was something to aspire.
And yea, the US is a socialist country, and has been since 1989. 1989 became the first year the federal government budgeted more for social programs than any of their constitutional responsibilities. Today, Social Security consumes 34% of the federal budget, and MediCare/MedicAid consumes 23% of the federal budget. So the US is without a doubt a socialist nation, and that is indeed a serious problem.
What non socialist countries do you think should make the top 10 of the list?
Yeah, why does Michael Moore still live here?....because he's a filthy rich capitalist and he loves how rich this country has made him!
Hospital beds per thousand? We have 315 million people in this country and tons of empty hospital beds. Has anyone EVER had a problem getting into a hospital here because they're overbooked? Please some of the other countries on the are smaller than some US states.

Non-rich in California is tough. I know people who have lived there for years and due to economy/taxes/job losses cannot afford the lifestyle and either forced to move out of state or pushed into the desert with crack heads. Some still have the California dream. Even the rich have problems, crime comes to them and their gated communities. The criminals just jump the gate. Fancy cars are followed and carjacked right from the driveway. A large percentage of accidents are hit and runs since illegals don't stick around to "swap insurance information".LOL.
I'll take a sleepy town in a chilly northern state any day.
I am so glad you choose to believe this garbage..!!!! For those who do beleive these reports, I suggest you move to another country and then tell us which place is better> yuae/for
