American drug companies learn many of their drugs kill people, in their pre-market clinical trials. But the drug companies put these drugs on the market anyway. They know they will make $4 billion dollars in profits from the drug, and only have to pay $1 billion dollars in lawsuits from deaths caused by the drug.

Republicans have staffed most of Americas government agencies, with CEO's from the very corporations that agency regulates.
Any time republicans get the chance, they appoint drug company workers to the FDA.

Republican CEO appointments to the FDA, have taken away a lot of its ability, to keep us safe from dangerous drugs.

So, how do they count a death? I mean if you are 85yo, break your hip and get screws put in but succumb to a blood clot is that the doc's killing you?

If you show up with stage 3-4 cancer and die 4 months later is that counted?

There aren't enough Michael Jackson scenarios to add up to 225k a year.

But, it can't be. Drugs are "regulated". In fact we have an entire federal agency whose job is NOTHING but drugs, the FDA.

Without his drug of choice, he'd have all the symptoms of withdrawal - tightness in the chest, racing heart, palpitations, difficulty breathing, tremors, nausea, etc.

He is still on drugs, care to provide a link to that, or are you tired of researching and just spewing BS again?
