Then he should have killed his wife. She's the one with the moral obligation to her husband, not the murder victim.

He probably still loved his wife. He really should have shot both of them. That kind of disrespect is too much for any man to live down.

Police say a northwestern Montana man shot and killed a well-known TV host before assaulting his own wife and turning the gun on himself.

Gregory G. Rodriguez, host of “A Rifleman’s Journal,” was killed by a jealous husband Friday after Wayne Bengston found Rodriguez with his wife at her mother's home in Whitefish. Rodriguez was reportedly in town for business but stopped at the home on Thursday night. It’s not known if the two had a relationship.

Bengston, 41, traveled to his wife’s parents’ home and upon finding Rodriguez and his wife, according to the Christian Post, he flew into a rage and shot the TV host dead. Bengston also beat his wife before taking their 2-year-old son - who was sleeping in the house - and dropping the boy off with relatives.

Law enforcement then found Bengston’s truck 25 miles away, in West Glacier, where he was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot in a small home.

Good Lord. You people need to stop posting every stupid episode of every stupid person shooting someone. We get it. Guns are the tool used by some to kill some. We get it. We do. Now stop it already. Because everyone here knows - they just freakin' know - that it is crazy and out of control people who kill others. The object did not kill. The person killed. Now stop it already. If you have an agenda to increase awareness about gun violence then raise your issues and concerns like an adult. Stop gloating that a man who had a show about guns died. It's unseemly.

This is a good example of one of those threads where the person posting it probably realizes too late how dumb the "logic" is. So they wait for it to die out, never coming back to respond to questions.

Yet the lesson is never quite learned, and as sure as the sun rises there will be another similar thread in the future. It's almost like a disease.
