In 1929 the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, approximately 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915-1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, 13 million Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, the mentally ill, and others, who were unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Those who would implement gun bans don't use history as a model. History tends to repeat itself, yet they seem to believe the US is immune to it.

Troubling that we have a nation of people who ignore this logic.

Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Japan established gun control and they have become war zones... oh wait... never mind.

This argue, ment makes the faulty assumption guns would have prevented the events of those countries.

We have 300 million guns in this country, do you seriously think those would over come the weapons of the military? No different than in the previous examples.

It is simply flawed logic.

the rebels in syria had limited number of guns and yet they have been battling the military there for two years. go back to 1776 in our own country, and we find that early in the war we didint have the military capabilities the british had, and yet we prevailed. or how about 1861-1864? the south didnt have the industrial capability the north had, and yet they almost won the civil war. imagine trying to round up 6 million jews who decided to defend themselves with firearms. add in the other 7 million "undesirables" and then tell me the german army would have been able to do what they did from 1939-1945.

This is something the gun grabbers fail to understand.

Depends on what weapons you are speaking of?

As a trainer of many Soldiers, on M16s, M9, M60, and the 240, I can honestly say I have spent thousands of bullets to get 1 person to qualify, not so much on the machine guns, but the M16 and the M9....I have sent MANY MANY people away from the range unqualified, this is after remedial training...AND more than a 100 rounds per person, just to hit the target 21 times....so, think about it, 1000 rounds for 21 hits....

And....I am not saying everyone is like that, but I think you would be surprised at how many "fake" their range card.....

instead of gun control, what it should read is gun confiscation.

japan is a different story, they have had private gun confiscation well over 150 years. the slaves there are not allowed to go against the government. also, the cops are allowed to beat a confession out of you.

“If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an out-right ban, picking up every one of them… ‘Mr. and Mrs. America, turn ‘em all in,’ I would have done it. I could not do that. The votes weren’t here.” – Sen. Feinstein on CBS-TV’s “60 Minutes,” February 5, 1995.
