By order of the Georgia state Supreme Court. About damn time if you ask me. But a narrow 4-3 vote? But I guess the bottom line is the same 4-3 or unanimous. If what took place there was a crime then they need to erect 10 more prisons in every state for all the teens that should be imprisoned.
Finally, hopefully he can move on with his life now. He was a very talented football player and good student. Two years in prison is no joke but he's still young and hopefully can still pursue his goals.

Finally...there are real sexual predators that need to be locked up-not consentual acts between two teenagers. They might as well lock up every kid in Georgia. Makes me wonder about the 3 votes who wanted to keep him in jail. I wonder if they will release an opinion.

IMHO Wilson should have been locked up. You can argue about how teenagers have sex all the time but that's not the point here. Just because other teenagers have sex with underage 15 year old intoxicated drugged girls doesn't make what Wilson and his crew did any less wrong.

If this was truly a crime do you know how many high schoolers in the United States would be locked up? The act was CONSENSUAL. This was not some passed out drunk girl who was physically taken advantage of. He was 17 and she was 15. Considering the way boys and girls mature that is really not much of a difference.
Thank goodness Wilson is or will be out. As much as I'd like to think that stupidity like this is confined to the Bible belt, I know it is not. My state, Michigan, has prosecuted much younger kids than Wilson for just goofing around with other kids. It's a disgrace.
