The same goes for MSNBC. It's a liberal network. Probably more bias than FOX.

Punditry is what makes cable news unwatchable. I just want facts. I don't want to listen to someone's opinion. FOX is propaganda. Anyone who can think critically can see this.

So you want an unbiased list of news programs? There isn't any. All news outlets have some sort of bias. And I don't mean just political.

If i want to be somewhat informed about what's going on in the world I'm going to turn on BBC NEWS, BBC Radio, NPR, PBS Newshour, Al Jazeera America, CBC(Canada)

If I want to be an uninformed bozo I'll turn on FOX, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC.
You are right about objectivity and outside sources. MSNBC more biased? Maybe this is why - their daily mission is to counter the worst of Fox and other RW media. This makes them naturally "biased". It is RW media which gins up "stories" on a daily basis which need responses, so the "news and information" of "leftist" media consists of debunking Fox propaganda. Fox is just the little bully on the block.

A little perspective. Conservative media is ultimately designed to establish a corporate-run government in place of the lower class vote - that's the mission. It does so by attacking the enemies of corporatism and rule-by-wealth - "liberals", "democrats", "leftists", regulators, the poor (because of their "leftist" votes), in other words all those who don't want a corporate government are the targets. Notice, these elements of society are whom RW media constantly attacks, and this indicates what their true mission is. They pretend "conservatism" and their media trolls are also in on the game.
It started 35 years ago with Limbaugh's attacks on "liberals" and the redefinition of moderates as such, then Fox came on later with Roger Ailes writing their scripts. This is the perceived "conservative bias" when it actually has a mission - convincing Americans to embrace a corporation-run government, in other words fascism, not conservatism. That's why they never criticize corporations, banks, the wealthy (except those who support democrats). This is why they extoll the virtues of the wealthy whom they really want in control, a cozy republican/corporate rule-by-wealth. So often we hear about the "suffering" of the rich at the hands of democrats and "liberals". Where do you think this "liberal demon" came from 35 years ago and what its purpose is?

MSNBC's and "leftist media's" "bias" comes from their opposition to the incessant RW fascist media claims. Notice that most of "leftist" media is kept busy responding to these claims. In other words, the RW media trumps up a "story" like Benghazi because Roger Ailes tells them to, and the well-paid hired help dutifully "reports" on it.
Funny they don't say much about an extremely important Congress, now ruled by lobbyists, while most of their bile is focused on the democratic President. For instance, they say nothing about the democratic-authored jobs bills which the republican congress blocks or filibusters - then they complain about "unemployment under Obama". Also funny is how the corporate mainstream "liberal" media plays right along with them.

Make no mistake about the aims of "conservative" media. It is A) not conservative, B) anti democracy, C) anti representative government, D) fascist. Even the Tea Party has picked up the backing of oil barons.
Except for a few who have been marginalized, the republican party is now the Corporate Fascist Party, and Fox is its voice.

By the way someone has way too much time on their has way too much time on their hands to document every employee on the left.
Those are opinion shows!

The news is fair......but even the opinion news have an opposing view there.

U cant say that for MSNBC........

Yes for the most part but I don't believe Fox & Friends is presented as just an opinion show. Chris Wallace is very fair an balanced, the rest not much. James Carville has toned down quite a bit, good choice even for an opinion show.

Morning Joe on MSNBC presents both sides, many conservative and commentators from the right.

The reason Fox is #1 is because it is the only so called "conservative" cable news.
The demographics of their viewing audience spends more time in front of the tv and Fox, than other cable news.

No, it's not. It's really bad reporting with an obvious agenda.

And when did "it's an opinion show" become an excuse for broadcasting misleading information? The point of news is to inform the public. Not gin them up so they hate one particular political party.

FOX puts on a lot more opposing views than MSNBC. I'll give you that. But what they debate is mostly nonsense anyway. I was watching FOX and they had a discussion about whether Obama was a socialist or not. It's a rigged debate. That would be like MSNBC debating whether or not Bush was a fascist.

If you want to be informed about whats going on in the world you really want to stay far away from FOX, CNN, and MSDNC

No, it wouldn't.

Fox has already hired a number of liberals. Have you noticed any lessening of liberal complaints about them?

Liberals don't complain about what Fox does and says.
They complain about what they want you to believe Fox does and says.

The liberals are pushing an agenda most normal Americans don't want. When they know the truth about it, they almost always vote against it. So the only thing the leftists can do is lie about it, trying to trick people into voting for it. And lie about the opposition, trying to trick you into voting against that.

Your apparent belief that liberals would praise Fox News for bringing in liberal commentators, is quaintly charming in its naivety.

Republican Logic on this forum seems to be that by hiring someone from both sides of the spectrum, you are "fair and balanced"

If we applied that logic equally, the only thing any Liberal would have to do is yell MICHEAL STEELE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the conversation would end. But that obviously isnt the case because this thread exists.

There is a lot more to bias than simply hiring someone, there are plenty of partisan and non partisan groups that publish "Buzz word list" for both sides of the aisle.

grab one, and watch FOX, tell me they dont repeat the Republican line and I will say they arent bias.

Another part of this argument seems to be an attack on MSNBC. Well, MSNBC has never claimed to be unbiased, in fact MSNBC markets itself as left leaning political commentary. MSNBC also hires Moderates and conservatives on it;s network, but you dont see any of us claiming they are "fair and balanced".
