Who was it that defined marriage? Was that the people who thought the sun revolved around the earth or those that believed the earth was flat?

Default Dr. Carson is no bigot.

Dr. Carson is neither bigotted or narrow minded. Conservatism does not equate to narrow mindedness. But "liberalism" of the "same sex marriage" crowd is unbridled perversion of the language, and open war against societal pillars. Nothing good can come of it.

And just who/what gets to determine just what the 'official' definition is?

Carson should be happy their are "definition-changers" in this world. He owes everything he has to that. His ancestors weren't allowed to vote/own property/not be slaves/get an education/etc, etc,etc....

No where did I say he said anything offensive...but it is currious to lump gays, nambla, and practitioners of beastiality into same thought.

I rest my case.

Here folks, we have one who hasn't listened to Dr. Carson enough to realize he isn't even remotely political. He's all about bettering oneself. The perfect candidate to speak at commencement.

But no! Those low IQs I mentioned only hear what the hand wringers at MSNBC and the like have to say.

Not when you're appealing to those who value hyperbole over substance.

so when a Liberal is invited to speak at an event you frequent, you fear them by not wanting to listen to what they have to say?

The very reason Carson has gotten so much attention from the right is because he made a non political event very political.

That is funny because I suspect it is you who hasn't listened to Dr. Carson...

Here is what Dr. Carson said.
“This is their graduation, their big day, and if they think me being there is going to be a problem, I am happy to withdraw.”

Even Dr. Carson understands, probably because of his own educational background, that commencements are an important recognition of the graduates' achievements. They are principally about the students, this is not some sort of political rally, it is a day a lot of people worked hard to achieve. I don't expect people without a lot of education to understand this, but please try. It is the day these students worked years for, and they should be able to have a say in the proceedings.

BTW though it is irrelevant, and none of your business, I am pretty damn sure my IQ is a whole hell of a lot higher then yours.
