You seem not to realize that residents are paid, about $50K/year. Student nurses never have been and never will be paid, just like med students are not paid.

I don't think you understand "opinion". Is red a prettier color than blue? That is pure opinion. However, "hospitals should finance residencies" is an opinion that needs to be backed up with some sort of fact, and you have failed to provide any.
