Thousands of people at the Boston Marathon and in less than a week authorities not only ID the bombers but they kill/capture them. That's pretty impressive.
I was going to say--it's not just impressive--it's fairly amazing. LE did a great job.
People are cheering in the streets of Boston right now.
I imagine they are because they will be left in peace now- by the perpetrators, the massive police presence, and the media.
they can leave their homes, walk freely, and live their lives again.
I will say that this massive coverage and response really does encourage copycat behavior for losers who just want to "make a name" for themselves, and they are still out there.
hopefully this really is the end of it, although we still aren't doing a darn thing about illegal immigration and any kind of border control (except inviting more in, with less restriction) so it's probably just a matter of time until the next "massive intervention".
Looks like the other great threat to national security (xenophobic right-wingers) are rearing their heads now.

Society is different today than it was 50-100 years ago.
And it has nothing to do with skin color. You are looking for racism where there is none.
Society is everyone in all countries.
Globally many countries are dealing with extremists entering their countries and committing horrid acts of terrorism.
Obama inept. Law enforcement inept. System in general is inept. Talk about low quality.
I'm sure you would've had this wrapped up on the same day as the bombing, right?
