Where are you hearing that 60 or more people are dead? I live within 80 miles of this event and haven't heard anything like that. And I'm pretty much glued to the news locally.

Dr. Gorge Smith Director of West EMS believes that there are 60 to 70 dead and hundreds injured.

This makes Boston pretty minor in comparison if he is right. No time for politics.

Local Houston news is reporting 60 - 70 dead plus many more unaccounted for, a local nursing home and apartment complex have both collapsed. They just ordered the entire town to evacuate.

Apparently a nursing home collapsed and a residential area is in flames ... holy ****. This is not good

Supposedly a "large swath" of the town is destroyed.
