I bet its darn near impossible to get a gun or permit to own a gun. You can own a gun in NYC but get one. If you don't know someone or have loads of dough to throw at getting a permit and the time to jump through all the hoops you can only get em on the black market.

To obtain a concealed carry permit in Boston you need to take a safety course, belong to a gun club, and go to a range to show a police representative that you know how to use it safely. Basically they make it just hard enough that it might dissuade a lot of people from doing it.

And these regulations are one of the reasons I am proud to be a Massachusetts resident. It shouldn't be easier to get a gun than it is to get a driver's license. None of the above is a hardship, or at least certainly has not been for my many (liberal) gun owning friends in the state.

How very pro-life of you.

Is everyone else down at life (but-only-until-you-pass-through-the-birth-canal) .com down at Walmart buying their guns tonight? Proof the conservatives aren't pro-life. They're as pro-death as anyone else.
I don't buy into the abortion thing, or anti abortion. But to say that killing a person who is a threat to you or your family is in any way akin to murder is stupid. Its not murder at all. Its just good citizenship

We arent the ones being suckered by Hannity and then turning around and creating threads about what Hannity told you as if it might be true. You basically did exactly what Fox News wanted you to do, take their lie and turn it into truth.

And what if you accidently shoot someone innocent over mistaken identity, is it murder then or still good citizenship?

The only thing this does is it stops the people who are only mildly interested in obtaining a permit from doing so.
