I know you Obama supporters only want to talk about gay marriage, pot legalization, and a made-up war on women. But when serious people want to talk about issues that matter, like Benghazi, transparency, and national security, do us a favor and simply avoid the threads rather than promoting the administration's lies and talking points.
“It’s 3 a.m., and your children are safe and asleep,”. “But there’s a phone in the White House, and it’s ringing.” something's happening in the world. It's the Benghazi consulate and they are under attack. But he's got a Vegas fundraiser in the morning so he will call back.
Of course, the Benghazi attack began at 3:40 p.m. ET, but hey, don't let facts get in the way when you're working from your talking points.
So you think the U.N. Ambassador is suppose to run her own investigation? That she should be running around collecting the first hand accounts. I think it was ludicrous that assertion was even made at yesterday's hearing. It just shows the partisan nature of the hearings.
The CIA was asked to produce talking points in the days following the attack, not just for Rice, but for others who would be speaking about the events. Including members of congress. Rice's comments on the 5 Sunday talk shows align very closely with the CIA talking points both in language and content.
So they were not just any old talking points, they were talking points specifically developed by the CIA for people who would be talking about the issue.
She should not allow herself to become a useful idiot, and blindly put he career and professional reputation in the hands of others. On the bright side, Ms. Rice did learn this lesson the hard way, now she will forever be known as a useful "it's the video" lackey.
So if they did "a good job", why is it that the witnesses contradict many of thier conclusions?

Even a blind man can see that there was a cover up that was ordered from the White House. It is just a matter of time before the actual truth will come out. Will Hillary or Obama "hang" over this? I would bet that Hillary, upon returning for testimony, will tell the truth and roll over on Obama.
She will if her presidential aspirations are on the line, and she can separate herself from 0bama. If she and 0bama were in collusion in some illegal activities, she will lie with the best of them to defend 0bama.
For the life of me, other than admitted politics, why are we still discussing Benghazi? Our embassy was attacked, some people lost their lives, we probably should have had better security. Is there anything else to discuss? It's not like the place was in downtown Boca Raton and the attack was a surprise.
Hillary will run in 2016. Probably win. Politicians on both sides of the isle will continue to serve themselves. The little people will pay the bill.

When presidents commit crimes, it tends to draw more attention than when an unknown lunatic commits a crime, thus the interest in Benghazi.
An unknown lunatic has not pledged to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the United States and protect its citizens. Therefore, the lunatic is spared a congressional investigation and is just sent to court or the morgue.

Whether there was collusion or not, she knows what went down. As for rolling over on Obama - never. She would never get party support for 2016. She wouldn't get past the first phase. The die-hard supporters will say she is lying to save her neck and won't vote for her - she would be seen as a traitor to Obama and to the party. Then again, Bill is very persuasive. In spite of his deep hatred for Obama, you never saw it when he was campaigning for his party - or more to the point Obama.
Look at the reaction Christie got from his party when he acknowledged Obama's response to Sandy? He was seen as a "traitor" and now pretty much an outsider, although he's the republican's best hope.

I could have sworn that was the work of Libyan terrorists. Man, that guy is busy - apparently he was sleeping, giving orders to stand down, attending a Vegas fundraiser and now, apparently, directing the attack in Libya - all at the same time. That's multitasking.
