Not sure if that is a joke or not, but if it isn't then it's also a ridiculous post.

Because the Devil does not exist, neither do God, Jesus or any kind of 'values' relating to wedlock.

It's all a mind game for sheep.

Not every child that grows up with a single parent grows up in poverty. I know of quite of few that are growing up in comfortable, middle class homes with involved family.

Isn't that kind of crazy though? I mean the man is already not paying, so now we are taking away any ability he would actually have to pay.

But if he get's a notice from the State that if his child support is not paid up by a certain date, or arrangements made-he has to report to court for sentencing for prison or a warrant for his arrest will be issued. I'll bet he would pay and I'll bet he will think twice about his next sexual encounter.

It's called deterrence. We have to change this culture and sometimes that can be expensive.

End the war on drugs and legalize most of it and tax it like tobacco and alcohol. That would pay for your prison system you seem to be so obsessed about.

With today's DNA technology this law would be very easy to enforce. Maybe 3 years is not enough?
Absolutly NOT!

Where is the mothers responsibility in this? She didnt get pregnant alone and she holds the cards when it comes to abortion, adoption or having a child she cant support.

Yes men should pay CS, but the mothers should also be required to GET A JOB and pay their share of support instead of mooching of the system. Gov. support should be temporary until one gets on their feet, not a career opportunity.

I see too many with 3-4 kids and multiple baby daddies. Why reward the irresponsible women and jail the men? Put that $$ in education and job training. Put them both to work so they can support their children or let the family or state have custody of the children.

That's a really bad analogy. Doesn't even make any sense.

I'm talking about enforcing a little personal responsibility. No one is telling the man he can't have sex, but they are giving him an incentive to have safe sex.

What is the difference between this and any "sin tax" like alcohol or tobacco?
