So now this guy is guaranteed to be picked up by a team (probably of his choice) because now if the team decides NOT to sign him the radical lavender will state they are being anti-gay or homophobic. Forget the fact that this guy is a star benchwarmer at best. Oh well eventually they will give everyone in professional sports a ring just for playing like they do with youth sports.
He made the league minimum this year and if he plays next year it will be the same deal...most likely. The league minimum is roughly $1.4 million. Since 2001 he has made roughly $40 million.
I figured it would have been Lebron James. Possibly Shaq although his career is over now. But I'm in the "Don't tell, Don't care" camp. Actually if it shakes a team up and spurs some controversy and some fans joking rival fans about it it can only make professional sports more interesting.
