She should've gotten more time. She knew what she did, had the chance to pay, didn't. She uses slavery as some reason that's supposed to validate her not paying taxes??? As if she was ever a slave. Dumb lefty moron.

Legal exploitation of the tax code by rich people is far different than not paying them at all.

Lauryn Hill's explanation for not paying taxes due is a pathetic deflection of the real issues. She wants to blame the music business, which made her famous and paid her a lot of money. It is her fault entirely.

The music business didn't pay her a lot of money, she paid the music business a lot of money.
I remember Natalie Maines saying she didn't even have a million dollars in the bank after selling 20 million units. Artist are nothing but route salesmen for the record labels . The best thing that ever happen to music is the decline in CD sales.
