Send an email to the guy that did the study and ask him.

I am sorry, but I don't believe they cannot learn to speak English. I think they are choosing not to speak English.

How about you be intellectually honest, the whole point of this debate is about a bill that creates a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants. What does I.Q. have to do with anything? I'm supposed to believe that every immigrant who came here legally has the I.Q. albert einstein? You wouldn't write that paper unless you were trying to make a point about letting hispanics come here in the first place.

Or do they belong to the European white smartest group. Because they are white and Hispanic. So.....

Why don't you find the study and we can see if and how Hispanics were grouped. As far as I know, white Hispanics aren't illegally immigrating, but the study might not have distinguished between legal and illegal immigrants.

From my understanding of Richwine's PhD thesis (I have not read it yet), it was all Hispanics that immigrate to the USA.

I do know it was not a reflection on all Hispanics that exist.

The immigrant Hispanic population was compared to non-Hispanic white native population. His argument was to change policy to select immigrants from Hispanic nations with higher IQs. (Clearly this indicates he does not hold the view that Hispanics are less intelligent).

Funny how folks are denouncing a Harvard thesis as ignorant that was signed off by a self avowed socialist. Folks need to learn how to debate on facts not emotion. Should the USA import low IQ people or not?

More race-baiting regarding the immigration proposals being considered in the U.S. Senate. This discussion belongs on the illegal immigration forum. If there was a forum discussing racism and racists ... which the maker of the statements in the linked article might be described as ... it would be appropriate to post it there as well.

in fact, libs have to sell the emotion on this one because a reading of the facts hurts their case.

this is what they do.
