He was voted in again just last November.

Sorry you're not on-board.

Effective republican? Now, that's funny.

The Democrats aren't getting the House back anytime soon, and they're in deep trouble in the Senate as long as the economy continues to move in super-slow motion, which it certainly will as long as Obama is in the White House.

Democrats have always been too fixated on pleasing the Sierra Club and the other environmental extremists out there on top of his fellow one-percenters on Wall Street and Big Pharma to be able to give a **** about the middle class.

Democrats aren't friends of the middle class, and African-Americans in particular, and certainly have no interest in helping them, unless you call soaring taxes and reams of new regulations beneficial to the little guy.

Any party which gave us the AMT and demolished the housing market in the name of 'fairness' certainly doesn't care whatsoever about the little guy; have you been to Detroit, Oakland or Buffalo lately to see the dismal results whenever their agenda is released upon everybody, and minorities in particular?

They also have to defend ObamaCare, and especially all the lies which are coming out over it, including that you WON'T be able to keep your doctor, and that premiums are guaranteed to soar to go along with another tidal wave of new taxes, putting the lie to his 'the average American family will save an average of $2,500', remark, yet another piece of fiction.

Keep spewing the liberal BS you've swallowed if it makes you feel better, but it isn't the truth.
*The Senate has passed a budget and the House refuses to vote on it.
*On the gun bill, The final vote was 54 in favor to 46 opposed with four Republicans joining most Democrats in supporting the compromise.
*Democrats constantly debate Republican proposals. I have no idea what you are specifically referring.
*Who is it who keeps proposing insane laws that the people don't want? That would be the Republicans, case in point: Ryan plan Would Turn Medicare into a Voucher Program

YES, it really is that easy to understand, even for low information liberals!

If you need further proof that the President no longer has any political clout, then look no further than the gun control vote, which didn't even make it out of the Democratic Senate!

LOL
The President is not the end-all on any future legislation.

Do you remember The "Dream Act" legislation, now its full Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

With a vast majority of Americans seeing forms of gun control legislation as prudent, the issues of registration and further restrictions on weapons and their peripherals are far from settled.

The NEXT president has 8 years to address issues you deem settled.

There is a very good chance that people will be quite upset with Democrats and the "change" they foisted upon us, against our will, come mid '14, and that anger could have some serious staying power.
That I agree with.. next year is going to be a pivotal year as to what direction this country ends up going.

So, according to you, the Democrats don't care about the middle class -- and the Republicans do?

Which party wanted to privatize Social Security and turn Medicare into a voucher program? Republicans
Which party wanted to lower taxes for the wealthy and pay for it by slashing programs for the middle class? Republicans
Which party held extending unemployment benefits (something always done) hostage to extending the Bush tax-cuts? Republicans
Which party wants to eliminate the inheritance tax -- something only the rich pay? Republicans

Apparently you like having your tax dollars pay the salaries of those in congress to promote gridlock. Careful! Your true colors are showing.

well, i assume you're joking.

i think the GOP would have to nominate a klansman in order for Hillary to win.

although at this rate, a klansman may not be conservative enough to win the GOP nomination.

I make no bones about the fact that I am a huge fan of gridlock. The less D.C. is doing the better off we are.
