Some of the smartest, most intuitive businessmen fall into the liberal scale. Mark Zuckerberg? Warren Buffet? Steve Jobs? Paul Allen? Howard Schultz? Most of these men would not be considered "strong" physically. However, they are smarter than most people. I don't require the government to "level the playing field for me", and am a runner/biker and consider myself relatively strong. I am also intelligent, and would trade brawn for brains any day of the week. Who do you think is a better conversationalist and more sophisticated of a person: Ted Nugent or Mark Zuckerberg?

I think a lot of conservatives worship people who may run there own business (and maybe have made some money too), but don't have much to show for it on the academic/intellectual side. Like brawns, I would also trade all the money in the world for intellect.

This reminds me of sixth grade. In response to an ignorant statement by a "jock," my friend said, "All muscle, no brains." He replied, "I got muscle." LOL

The study is flawed.

I do believe that physically stronger men tend to be more libertarian, however that doesn't translate into right wing necessarily.

Many right wingers are easily frightened, love big government, and in fact support wealth redistribution (bank bailouts, corporate welfare)

Arnold, the Governator is not right wing.

I'm 6'-2" and have been 220 to 250 lbs most of my adult lift as a union Carpenter. I support ideals on both sides, but make no claim to be a sheeple for either side. Busting my tail, and sweating are a way of life, but I'm a strong supporter of union labor. I'm sure the right will paste me liberal until they hear about how I feel about Arizona.

So.

I am aware that criminals have guns, yet I don't live in constant fear. Brawn is worthless if you don't have guts.
