"Rand Paul mocks Obamacare in the following video, and it's a thing of beauty. Frightening as all get out that lemmings voted this crap into existence, but still a thing of beauty that there are leaders out there who still possess common sense and actual senses of humor to keep them from going insane."
"You know, kinda like us normal folk out here paying the damn bills."
Actually the current code system ICD 9 ( International Classification of Diseases version 9) is being replaced with version 10, a more specific version. Version 10 was first created in early 1980s and completed in 1992. Many other countries have been using the system for years and the USA will be starting next year. Has nothing to do with Obama or Obamacare.
I'm a certified coder. This change has been coming for years: from ICD-9 to ICD-10. Mr. Paul should know better, being a doctor.
I like a lot of what Mr. Paul says but on this he is incorrect. This is not part of Obamacare. Unless the implementation date was made part of the bill. That I do not know.
This change has been coming for years, and has been delayed, because doctors don't want it. The code list is way over the top. Coders have to be re-trained to the new rules and how to use these codes. and in my case, my certifying organization are requiring coders to be re-certified.

It is on Obamacare..the AHA is still fighting this transition tooth and nail. Even if this was mandated by the Bush admin, this was delayed over into the Obama admin.
This admin holds the chips on this issue.
There is no reason to transition. Except for a big step towards more globalism.
"chicks on the right" at what age do you stop being a "chick"???
the piece was written by http://chicksontheright.com/user-profile/userprofile/Daisy... I clicked on the link to see who Daisy was...when I see a video of two old ladies talking about some popcorn maker wanting to be the "official" popcorn of "chicks on the right".
Man, some people buy [figuratively and literally] anything someone is selling.

So modern that it's bloated with codes that will never be used. It's nothing but a racket and an agenda. Out of all things that needs to be fixed.....this was the last of them.
Hey, one good thing? This will create more jobs!!! At the expense of some practice overhead....who will find new and inventive ways to keep status quo. And who gets the shaft?
You, the patient.
Do you how this crap cake is starting to bake up?
Eurotrash haven coming up
