Ugh, you Monsanto apologists love arguing that "there is no proof GMO's will kill you".

I guess that's a great..ugh...'quality' to have in a food product, but was never my point.

I am against collusion between our Federal Government and Multi-National Corporations.
It exists with Monsanto and you must be blind or paid to not see it.

I said "harm", much less difficult bar to clear than "kill" but I guess that is besides the point. Again, as a man of science, I like to see the scientific basis for such claims before I jump on the bandwagon.

Again, so you have a guy working in the biotech industry taking a job with the government regulatory body dealing with the biotech industry and that equates to collusion?

I am unimpressed.

It's just that I refuse to jump on any bandwagon until I've researched a subject in depth. I haven't seen any scientific studies that show how harmful GMO foods are. Hysterical articles from sites like Natural News don't count, and neither do youtube videos with dramatic music.
Yes, rats get tumours. Here's the thing, though. Rats ALWAYS get tumours. I had pet rats for about a decade, and they're prone to tumours no matter what you feed them, even an all-organic healthy diet.

Show me a credible study and I'll be glad to crucify Monsanto.
I'm the LAST person you'd expect to be an apologist, but there just isn't any real evidence, sorry.

the sprague-dawley line of rats in the seralini study you mentioned are more tumor-prone than virtually any rat known to mankind. this has been a known fact since the 1950s.

A tumor incidence of 57 per cent was observed in 150 female rats allowed to live out their life-span as normal, control animals on standard laboratory chow. One hundred similar rats on a special fatrich diet developed an 80 per cent tumor incidence.

This thread is about a march against Monsanto which you appear to be against, by your appearance in this thread. It is safe to assume that you support Monsanto in that context.

Monsanto is as far from Free Market Capitalism as you can get.

A corporation having the ability to write it's own laws and have it instantly passed in Congress without question or knowledge on it's content isn't collusion?

News to me.
