I think this girl's parents and the Republican congressman are correct. Who gets organs and who doesn't should be decided by Kathleen Sebelius- a government bureaucrat with no medical training.
The article that was posted said the decision was UPENN's medical department. I'm not familiar with Sebelius.
I hate the idea of others living by using the
body parts of the dead to survive...It's a kind of cannibalism..where you eat
another human being to sustain...I am taking MY body and I am going to let it
ROT...as for "saving lives" - that is their problem...just as my life or loss
of it is MY problem.
i agree with some of the others, i too am no fan of sebelis, but there are rules put in place for a reason, and they have been there for years. this is one excellent reason why i want to keep government OUT of making medical decisions.
Well, the person the get's the heart, will get it at the expense another person, no matter how you slice it, no pun intended.
