So, this guy dumps his GF and a $200k/yr job in order to tell us the NSA is tracking phone numbers?
Doesn't add up...
I agree with your statement above, but not sure if it's for the same reasons. There is no doubt a whole lot more to this story. That said, what he exposed will not be discredited though, and I expect that more is to follow.

The question is now how many citizens appreciate this fact and demand transparency and accountability.
From some quick online polls I've seen..ranging about 70% approve of what he did.
Not that they would do anything to help him but clicking a mouse they said they approve.
Quite informal..not any "official" polls that I'd link
Well thanks for being honest. That does add to your creditability.
I did say yesterday that it was "my guess". I also explained the real problem here is the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, which was set up in 1978, but didn't see any true action until 9/11. Since 911 they have been asked to approve thousands of surveillance requests, such as the Verizon one, and they hardly ever turn anything down. They rubber stamp everything. I read that last year, they received 202 requests, and approved all except one, the one which was not approved was canceled by Congress before U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court had a chance to rubber stamp it. In other words they approved everything they got their hands on.
