So much for being a President of Peace. What a disappointment to me.

Obama is everything that we never wanted in a president. He has certainly delivered "change".

1. we do not have the money for another war
2. we would be supporting Islamic fundamentalists
3. if Assad is toppled, there may be an Islamic regime adjacent to Turkey and Israel.
4. our troops are stretched to the limit

Did we learn nothing from Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Egypt? I personally do not want my son, who will be active duty Marine Corps upon graduation from college, to be cannon fodder for people who hate us.

Does the US ever learn anything from history? Do we care what these weapons will be used to do to poor, unsuspecting citizens?

I cannot tell you how disgusted I am at the thought of handing weapons over to people who truly are our enemies in the interest of taking down the enemy of the month.

If we have the justification, send in the Marines and end this thing. Don't give weapons to scumbags who will use them to intimidate innocent civilians for the next 30 years.

BTW, I fully expect the Russians to up the ante in weapons for the other side now too.

The UN still has not come to any conclusion.
The UN has not done any tests to confirm. Other countries have but the UN say they want to actually go in there and get their own samples.
The UN has not confirmed which side did it either.

But the US knows better ? We've been beating the drums for a while now on Syria. It was just a matter of time.
And I just read this morning of early estimates of this costing us $50 million per day.
