HBCU's are regular schools and they remain popular with black kids.

If you can't afford to go to Howard, then go elsewhere. Obama isn't obligated to help you afford an education at a prestigious school.

Unreal.
I agree but the black establishment says this is racist.

But will they survive Obama's tightening lending standards?

Then what are you complaining about since you hate the so called black establishment?

Not allowing people to take on debt they can't afford is prudent. Why that makes Obama the bad guy according to your OP goes over my head.

Shall we complain about everything even if it's the smart thing to do? Geez.

Did you read the article? HBCUs are losing a significant portion of their revenue due to tightening lending standards. Since Blacks on average have worse credit than Whites parents seeking loans for their kids are increasingly denied.

HBCUs need to become more dynamic in order to compete. If you're a talented black student most likely you're going to have attractive offers from non-HBCUs. Going forward HBCU are going to have to show how they add value or they will die. They can no longer rely on nostalgia.

Lol I'm just pointing the irony of people who support the President to the tune of 96%+ who are constantly undermined and cast aside by the man they support. It's comical.

The underlying policy itself makes sense though. However we are scolded by liberals that if something causes a disparate outcome between the races it is inherently racist. I wish you guys would be consistent.

How are they being undermined by a policy that doesn't allow them to borrow money they can't pay back?

Talk about consistency!

You're simply mocking blacks for not voting the way you think they should've. Damn...at least be honest. Nevermind consistency...how about honesty?

All colleges are facing a squeeze.

It's not all Obama's fault. There were things set in place before he ever took office.
