Why did the people of Nevada vote for this clown several times?

Over time many things that have been "slipped" into this bill will emerge. Politicians will claim ignorance. We will vote them in again.

Reid should be patting himself on the back.
$100 million per year forever.
Changed 2012-2015 to "from 2012 and every year thereafter".

The more garbage in it the better. No one will touch it if it's toxic.

Kind of funny when our President didn't promote Nevada as the place to visit.....it's like going down the dumb & dumber highway. Reid had the nerve to say Romney wasn't a good Mormon.....

I think both sides can agree: there should be a constitutional amendment that limits legislation to one specific issue.

I also agree with this but want to add to it. The name needs to reflect the ACTUAL contents of the bill as well.

The OP once again misunderstands an issue and titles the discussion falsly. If the America-hating web blog linked in the OP accurately reports on the matter (something it oftentimes does not do, report accurately), the amendment to the Act (which was approved by both houses of the Congress in 2009) was inserted into the legislation ... at the request of the GOP. I, too, think it's wrong to tack-onto one piece of legislation an amendment which has nothing to do with the legislation and it's principal intent. The monies to fund the tourism promotion campaigns come from taxes levied on international visitors, if what I've read about is accurate.
