Yes. But that is what the majority of the Egyptian people want --- democracy. From what I can tell.
Nobody gives up power willingly. The Muslim Brotherhood, having finally achieved dominance in Egypt, I can't see them just giving it up.

Well if there is a democracy they'll win again. I suspect military dictatorship. You will have jockeying for power within military and a strongman emerges. Basically Mubarak II.
