The backstory is more interesting than the song.

Steve Grand self-produced the video for $7,000—and it looks it. Cute story but lousy production values. He should do a remake now that it’s so popular.

I always thought country music was a little gay. I'm glad they found each other.

Seriously, what's the big deal. Country music is about life. Not just straight peoples life.

Other than maybe a handful of songs that I can think of, I'd have to agree. Not a huge fan.

The largest segment in music... Country & Western music.
Must be hell to be in the minority.

I like all music, from country, to rock & roll, to punk rock, Disco, rap, gansta rap, classical and elevator music. Haters, will hate.

Eh. There is a machismoism to country that doesn't make it too friendly to gay anything. Similar to rap in a sense. Even very liberal artists like brad paisley have denounced feminism in their songs.

Amen! It doesn't irritate me because he is gay, it irritates me because it is not county music!

Gay country has been around longer than this. KD Lang is probably the most well known gay country artist, although she didn't come out until she had slid into a more singer-songwrite/pop/folk mold, and did a very credible job, especially with her early stuff.

For the most part I do as well. After all I was a DJ for many years. I just never really developed an ear for country, save for a few songs.

Another modern pop song considered country from a gay singer. 95% of new country is complete trash and the lyrics are horrendous.

Proves if you can sing twinkle twinkle little star and half way stay in key you can make it in music these days.

You'll find most of your most talented musicians in the background of the these singers. That is where the talents at.
