How a functioning brain can reach such a conclusion is disturbing. The POINT is, whether the baby is a few weeks from being born, or a few weeks old after being born is immaterial to the basic fact that both are not "viable", and require the mother or a surrogate to provide for it's every need. Both are living human beings, with heartbeats and brain activity and feelings .... including all the necessary senses to experience pain, at the very least. There is no significant distinction between the two, relative to the basic fundamental fact that both are living human beings ... even if in your own ignorance and lack of moral character, you think calling one a "fetus" somehow changes that reality. It does not.
So, it is a matter of intellectual and moral bankruptcy to suggest that anyone has the right to kill a living, breathing baby simply because it cannot survive on it's own. The fact is, there are a lot of grown adults who apparently cannot survive on their own either .. as evidenced by so many of them sitting on their fat rear ends, contributing nothing to society, totally reliant on government handouts so popular with the left wingers like yourself, which is funded by the theft of our money to be given away to those who can't be bothered to even lift a finger to support themselves. Now, the thrust of this deplorable state of affairs is to steal more money from the rest of us to also pay the fees for these infanticidal murders too.

30 weeks is about 5 months of pregnancy, a woman as more than just a "few weeks" to go, pregnancy lasts about 10 months.

conservatives champion the government staying out of peoples lives and personal responsibility; however, they also typically base their lives on a book of fairy tales. It's because of this book of fairy tales that they lose tract of their political stance. Take religion out of the equation, and conservatives would be screaming about their freedom to have an abortion or take part in a same sex marriage. They're basically a bunch of Hippocrates. If politics in this country made any sense you would have one party that was all about helping the poor, massive social programs, but conservative on the social issues (the religious) vs another party that was fiscally conservative while being very open to things like abortion or gay marriage (the non religious). The problem is that most people who claim to be religious only abide by the belief system that they think they're basing their lives on when it's convenient for them. Eventually Religion will really start to die out in this country (providing we keep our immigration in check) and the political landscape will see its biggest changes in in over two centuries.

there already are restrictions on abortion, None preformend after 24 weeks and then after that only in the extream cases of the life of the mother.
