TAMPA --
Police have identified the suspect in the fatal shooting of a Family Dollar manager this past weekend.

Demetrius Parks, 23, is wanted for the murder of Horsley Shorter Jr. Shorter was working Sunday morning when police said Parks came into the store on N. 40th Street and demanded money from an employee. Shorter ran out to help and was shot.

This is just what happened and were the head lines since Sunday in the Tampa Bay or are we now racists for having the news media reporting on this!

Just a disclaimer before people call me a racist. I'm from a background with a mixture of all kind of nationalities and I'm Jewish and married to a Catholic and a daughter dating a half black/half white very nice young man!

In our family color, race, religion is not what we judge others on...we judge on common sense, decency, respect to others and working hard and not feeling entitled to get things for free!
