Zimmerman jury sequestration included steaks, pedicures | Detroit Free Press | freep.com

Oh I see so now the media points out how those paid by the Government, while providing their time for said Government is a bad thing. Yes the article points out how Jurors cannot see their familes but to even bring this up after this trial is very hypocritical.

Every Jury gets stipends.

I wonder if the media will point out how much in tax payer dollars will be wasted by Holder as he pursues a civil case?

I wonder if we'll now see you championing the cause of government workers?

Depends which ones you are talking about. The ones at the top I would say get more than enough perks and benefits to live well.

The ones working at the lower levels of Government well since the ones at the top are disproportiantely compensated they can take it up with each other. The Taxpayer does not need to contribute more so they can improve on their Cadillac health plans.

I'm not sure what the point is. The jurors aren't the prisoners, doncha know.

They don't live lavishly like politicians.

Why begrudge them some comfort?

Ask the media whom felt they had to "expose" the jury for spending the tax payer dollars.

Pedicures are frivolous, but weekend field trips and meals out at restaurants are pretty much par for the course for sequestered juries.

Remember that Simpson's episode where Homer was on a jury, and he deliberately held out so he could keep ordering room service? Classic episode.
