His first meeting in Connecticut was at a gun manufacturer's plant, not IBM. I know to some guns are everything but in the north east there are a few other more important issues beyond the 2nd Amendment.
If he wanted to promote his state on it's merits fine, but I wouldn't want to see any governor from NY or elsewhere criticizing others. Very low class but then it's Rick Perry and his supporters who think it was a good idea to send him to represent Texas, not exactly a group of Mensa's.
Governor Rick Perry Says : " Come to texas and as a business you can legally do whatever the hell you want even if it kills your employees!! I say this because the koch brothers pay me to be there professional tool of a human being." Perhaps before perry leaves office he'll change texas's official state flag to koch industries ??
No issue with states trying to attract business but criticizing other states is a bit classless, how did he get elected?
Are you kidding? You live in this stupid state too. The bureaucrats in Albany have us so boxed in with their petty little bs rules and taxes out the wazoo I'm shocked anyone tries to open a business here. I can hardly wait till my kid graduates high school, I'll have my house on the market the day after and get the hell out of this business unfriendly state.
No, not really. If one state (s) offer much less in terms of employee safety and employees' benefits and rights, it makes for an unfair comparison.
How so? Wouldn't it be a benefit to states who do ensure employee safety, benefits and competition? People are very mobile within the United States and can move to whichever state meets their needs as an employee. It's not like comparing the U.S. to Bangladesh.
