Broad, he specifically talked about Trayvon. Didnt mention the burglaries in that neighborhood by BLACKS. Doesnt mention black on black crime ruining lives in Chicago and across the country. He pandered to certain people. He was not trying to unite.

The simple fact that he gave these remarks now, of all times, says it all. He isnt trying to calm anything down. This whole thing was starting to die down, just a little. Yet here he comes sticking his nose into it.
He most certainly did address those issues - did you even listen to the speech? Or are you just taking Hannity's word for it?

Democrats, the Congressional Black Caucus, the NAACP, Al Sharpton, MSNBC, the DOJ and Obama .... never have anything to say about Black on Black killing or crimes.

The "new White Hispanic" is the story and the controversy here ..... Hispanics need to wake up and understand that they are under fire with a new designation. This is all political Grand-Standing and agenda driven for some very odd reason. I suspect a lot of mis-direction because of all the Scandals that are hitting the Administration.

Never let a "crisis" go to waste.
Bingo. And that shouldve have been among his remarks, going into the violence in the black community. But now, he didnt go there. He doesnt want to get his people angry for speaking by speaking the truth.

It's a great diversion from his criminally corrupt administration. I still can't believe this turd was elected twice. Tells you something about the ignorance and stupidity of the American electorate.

Federal charges against GZ are unlikely
Authorities will have to be learn to treat minorities more fair

So, Obama was skipping school, vandalising it when he was there, getting caught with burglary tools and an assortment of women's jewlery, smoking pot and getting caught with a pipe at school?

I guess Trayvon was on his was to Harvard and the Senate.

It could be a planned and calculated effort on the administrations part to create a scapegoat. A scandal, possibly yet unknown, is looming and they know Obama will be impeached. They create the racism problem and use that as a smoke screen to try to hide behind and generate public support and sympathy.
Its just too bizarre and nonsensical to have a POTUS dither about an imagined problem where none exists, particularly when serious issues are already a problem.

I think the President should have taken that under consideration before he spoke and that's a shame.
He should try and stay out of the gutter, but then his life is built around being in the intellectual gutter.

If Obama has any respect for our country's justcie system and the jury trial process, why does he not at least mention, in addition to Martin's tragic but justified death brought on by his attack on another man, the fact that that other man, who was not guilty of any crime at all, has been driven into hiding and will never live a normal life again?

Mr. President, doesn't Zimmerman count too?

You do respect the jury process that found him Not Guilty... don't you?

.
I see he is conspiring with Rangel to stick it to America.

When will President Obama - since he insists on injecting himself into this issue - make a speech containing the remark: "If only Trayvon hadn't attacked Mr. Zimmerman, knocked him down, and beaten him, Trayvon would be alive and well today." ?

When will he point out that most relevant truth?

You don't know that race had nothing to do with it.

I suppose it's possible that Zimmerman is equal opportunity sociopath/stalker/murderer. Or maybe he was engaging in a little racial profiling.

Regardless, Obama was discussing the lens through which black people view the world.

Let me ask the right wing - do you think that race issues in America warrant ANY discussion? Any conversation?

Everything is just peachy as long as you continue to hate? OR . . we just ignore it and hope it will go away.
