Really? Unite? By pandering to those bringing race into a case that had nothing to do with race? Yeah, the great uniter......

So did I but its pointless to try and get some people to see it that way.

His speech was intelligent; thoughtful, calming ~ and he tried to bring EVERYONE in on how we move forward.

I guess it's distinctly unsurprising that the OP didn't like it.

Maybe you should start a few Obama brown-noser threads. Its what you people do every time you talk about the guy.

Obama's remarks pertained to the unjustified profiling of Trayvon, as well as the common application and acceptance/tolerance of profiling in our country at large. Nothing wrong with what he said.
