Pot smoking may cause permanent brain damage

They are talking about young kids and teens here. The developing brain.

It would be interesting to see the same experiment performed on those adolescent mice with alcohol and tobacco. I wonder if the alcohol and tobacco lobbies would be interested in seeing the results compared with those of marijuana?

Really? Please do cite the 30 year old studies that determined that. Or is it just typical vehement blather by the right?

So.

What's that got to do with anything? I don't think pot smokers ever claimed that smoking weed is akin to eating broccoli.

The health concerns should have nothing to do with one's right to smoke it.

So, no wonder, most people who want pot legalized only want legal use to begin at age 21.

This is not new news. The same studies have been done on alcohol and nicotine.

Consensus is its not good to tamper with brain chemistry until.the brain reaches adulthood.

Still does nothing against legalization efforts, which are almost always for adult use only.

This is why I refused to put my son on adhd medication.

Toke all you want, but don't complain when you can't get a job due to a failed drug test.
