That's one way of defending it.

Than they need to work more hours, obviously.

Isn't this thread about the decline of full-time work because employers aren't offering as many work hours as they previously did?

Hamburger flippers are particularly vulnerable to being shorted on work hours, since minimum wage employers - especially those driven by corporate bean counters - hate to pay overtime. I worked 48 hours one week and my boss intentionally underworked me on weekdays to ensure he'd never again have to pay me overtime.

But even burger-flipping may require a science degree soon if it is to be cultivated from stem-cells!

There is no need for fast food if there aren't enough full time workers that don't have time to cook.

A burger flipper would have to work at least 100 hours per week. And then factor in commute times. Barely enough time to eat, sleep, or spend any money. And considering most burger places aren't open 24 hours a day, this would add up to 14 hour,17 minute work days, and 7 days a week. Add commuting to this and this would be over 15 hours a day. And this is if employers will let burger flippers work that long.

We will simply not need labor as we become more technologically advanced and automated. Many jobs these days are lost because we have machines and computers to do jobs much more efficiently. It's only going to get worse. 200 years from now, there won't be construction and manufacturing jobs, they'll be done by machines. Many people won't have to work anymore.
And the machines make themselves? People will always work, just not the same kind of work.

So why do the voters keep electing the globalist puppets?
