This parent should be ashamed, but sadly, I am sure they are proud. Instead of using their kid though, and making him think its just great to pray to a man, they shouldve just filmed their own sorry ass praying.
I'd agree and the ones with the kids praying about Bush is equally repugnant.
That said both are private situations and none of my business.
I went to a born again Christian service (first and last time - way too weird for me) and that business of lifting your arms was part of the ritual when praying.
Christians are known for kneeling to pray, but there really isn't any "standard" for praying. You can be driving in a car, walking down the street, shopping for groceries and still be praying.
In the video you will notice that the children are holding their arms up with the heads bowed. This is what I observed at a born-again Christian service when they were praying (and giving thanks to God). At the same time, I also was privy to two people placed on opposite sides of the church screaming out loud in tongues to each other. The woman in the video spoke in tongues. It was so brief you could miss it.
In the Catholic Church usually during prayer or offering thanks to God the congregation kneels. Christians will join hands at the table or put their hands together (in prayer fashion) to say a prayer and thank God for the food before them and offer up blessings.
What I'm saying is that there are different ways that people can pray. You mentioned that they weren't on their knees thanking him (Bush) for stuff, but they did take a born-again Christian prayer stance.

Many worship Obama, and pray to their GOD for his safety, after all he has done to fundamentally ruin this nations freedoms and getting us farther into other nations business.

No. You would be incorrect. Never did I say "they weren't on their knees." The little boy in the Obama video was praying to Obama. Thanking him for this and that. In the Bush video, they were not thanking Bush, they were thanking God and praying FOR Bush. Don't fixate on the physical stance they are on. That doesn't matter. Its WHAT they are saying.
Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and Obama, all fantasy characters created for childen not old enough to reason. The definition of 'children' has been mandated by the social justice government to range up to 65 years of age.
Most gods would require past accomplishments to achieve the status of 'god'. A nobel peace prize and transparency award are enough to turn O into a minor god just below the level of a drug dealer.
Though with all the spying, O does have an omnipresence formerly attributed only to God and does probably actually hear the kid praying to him.
