I've been wondering that myself for awhile. Interesting that the AP should put it out there so blatantly.

"State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki curtly replied Thursday to Associated Press reporter Matt Lee that the policies of the Obama administration regarding Egypt and Syria were in fact worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize winner.

President Obama already has a Nobel Peace Prize - awarded to him for doing absolutely nothing.

Didn't they give the Nobel prize to Yassar Arafat? If so, then O's policies are right in line with past winners.

I'm sorry but why is the Right pinning this on Obama? McCain, Graham et all were all behind the Arab Spring. Everyone knew democracy in Egypt meant Muslim Brotherhood but American elites cheered the Arab Spring. In fact it's been stated neocon goal to spread democracy through the ME. Some of us on the right and left said wait a minute democracy isn't for everyone and we were denounced as being against freedom.

On this issue Obama is pretty much lock and step with the GOP I don't see any real difference.

Yeah, but they don't have a Nobel Peace Prize.

Whenever Harrier thinks about President Obama's Nobel Peace Prize, he also thinks of this story:

"A man was driving along a rural road one day and noticed another man standing in the middle of a field, doing absolutely nothing.

The driver went to the closest intersection, turned around, drove back, and saw the man still standing motionless in the same spot in the middle of the field.

The driver, concerned for the other man's welfare, parked the car, got out of the vehicle, hopped the fence, and walked over to the man, asking him "What are you doing"?

The man responded, "I am trying to win a Nobel Prize".

The driver asked, "How can you possibly do that by just being out here by yourself in the middle of nowhere?"

The man answered, "I heard that the Nobel Prize was awarded to people who are outstanding in their field".

"Kissinger won the Nobel Peace Price for negotiating an end to the Vietnam War; and I won mine for. . . What did I win mine for?” -Obama

Nobody is quite sure why he won a peace prize. I know the people in Yemen and Pakistan aren't.

The question about obama deserving a NPP comes far too late to matter. AP reporter must have been on crack for the past 5 years to suddenly wake up and ask such a probing question.

O was handed a NPP as a consolation gift for reparations by suck up Euros who mistook O for a mature statesman. They missed the news about his extensive experience as a community organizer.

Ask how many angels can dance on the head of a pin not if O's behavior is the middle east is comensurate with a NPP winner. The angels and pin are a more serious question.

After Obama was award the Nobel Peace Prize I lost all respect for any award by them. Supposedly they awarded it to him for his future endeavors to bring peace. Huh?
