The reason I don't like it for EITHER side is that it allows unlimited anonymous donations from corporations. On top of unlimited donations, another big problem is that the 501(c)4 nonprofit status is being abused because of it--groups like American Crossroads are using what are supposed to be groups doing at least 51% social welfare work to channel the "dark money" and there seems to be zero accountability to the IRS--that ticks me off. The other bad part is that it lets unions use some of their dues money for campaign work--in the past union contributions were limited to funds raised outside of dues through special fundraisers and collections to outside PACS. The end result for both sides is that the tax payers are the ones who lose, and special interests get to run our elections.

You are correct and the only politicians that are for it are the ones getting extremely large contributions from it. There is no logical reason why this should even exist other to line the pockets of greedy politicians. Who knows where the money is coming from anyway
really? so that is why there are a large number of people who bundle donations so that they dont have to be accounted for?
Nothing changed there or had anything at all to do with McCain/Feingold and the reason for C.U.
The bundler is documented and where he got the money is documented when it's gave to either a politician or a political party.
It's was that way before M/F and after M/F.
