Very low number of hurricanes... I thought it was suppose to get worse and worse and much more worse.. and hurricanes were suppose to happen earlier and earlier and then really early..

Forecasters: Hurricane season 2013 is no bust

Well... I just did... and we will see what pans out... most of the time, when this happens, you get what you have... rarely, does it ever lead to something... now Global warming was suppose to change all that... where is it? what happened to it? Did Global warming die?

Its a little sad, your lack of understanding of the climate science.

Climate science talks about overall environmental changes, and those changes potentially correlated impacts to human beings.

As with anything, if you up your chance of getting a hurricane by 10% doesn't mean that in a given year you will get extreme events or not

Just as we can't say 100% sure if a extreme weather event (drought in Colorado) is due to climate change.

You can only tell after a period of years and the number of extreme events have significantly changed

one year, is an anomaly
three years is a trend

A snowstorm in April doesn't prove global warming doesn't exist

A drought in July doesn't prove it does exist

And another denier shows they do not understand the difference between weather and climate.

Are you sure you want to stick with your "trend" idea?

Because if you do you may not like the results. Total Global Hurricane activity has been trending down for better than 5 years. In fact Global Accumulated Cyclonic Energy (ACE) (the value used universally to measure hurricane activity) is at the lowest point in the satellite era going back to the early 1970s. So if you want to talk trends, then while the earth warmed from 1979 to 1998, then leveled out, global ACE went up then came crashing down. It seems CAGW has not done what we have been told it was supposed to do (make weather worse).

Problem is too many alarmists do the same thing.

As it seems are those who for years that claimed that Global Warming would lead to all these new stronger storms.
