Correction, 3:25 p.m. Friday: According to Ezra Klein, who interviewed Al Gore, he may have inaccurately transcribed Gore’s comments pertaining to hurricane categories. Gore’s staff said the former VP did not say: “The hurricane scale used to be 1-5 and now they’re adding a 6.” Rather, Gore (according to his staff’s transcript) told Klein : “The scientists are now adding category six to the hurricane….some are proposing we add category 6 to the hurricane scale that used to be 1-5.”
So....he said what he said, but didn't really mean to say what he said after being called out by leading weather scientists.
And the "global warming" nuts see this man as a hero!
BTW....Leonardo DiCaprio is still attached firmly to his leg.
Depends, what is category 6? Or is it just a restructuring the categories to be more detailed. I am sure the OP has investigated into this and will inform us.

Climate change (formerly known as "global warming") happens regardless how much fossil fuels are burning.
How can you question the intelligence or the integrity of the man who in his own words "invented the internet". Al Gore was an idiot 13 years ago and is once again proving that a leopard doesn't change it's spots.
Well it seems his solution to global warming is to "change the conversation". Maybe we should take his advice right now. Notice he throws in the gay AND racial meme for good measure.
