Guess who'd actually pay the fines, through increased prices?

Doh! Ouch...aside from Pelosi's plane and eliminating edukashun, anybody have a serious proposal to offer aside from raising taxes. Cause I know those "conservative" types don't like to be taxed, it's their hard earned money....called inidividual accountability. Try it, sometime....

The Republicans have no more intention of paying for the war than they do of stopping it. They are going to let the working and middle class pay for it. If the rich had to pay for wars it would take the profit out of it and then where would the fun be?

No one likes being taxed, except Hollywood liberals.

And masochists.

The goal should be to use the taxes more intelligently, though that term smacks of elitism to some victimologists.

The same folks who'd be paying increased prices due to higher labor costs if all the illegals are sent away?

Bith sides of the aisle have been conveniently turning blind eyes to this issue for decades. Attempting to make it a key election issue as if there's a quick 'magic bullet' solution to the problem is IMO just plain silly.

We'll do the same as we did with LBJ's war that was never declared or properly financed, and with the Savings-and-Loan debacle, and with the dot-com bubble popping, and as we'll do with the sub-prime mortgage mess: grow the economy and increase revenues as the boar moves through the python.

Hmmm...nope..still think the responsible thing to do is to raise taxes and try to pay for it. People don't like it maybe they won't be so "gunho".
