The self-importance and self-aggrandizement you express is indeed quite impressive.

Thanks for clarifying the foundation for what you support.

Jeeez the discussions on this site get stranger and stranger by the day. Have fun
Typical Obama supporter....can't debate the topic....insult the opposition.

One can be a bully and a weakling at the same time. Using a military strike where diplomacy could have resolved the issue IS weakness. The view from the Obama supporters does get stranger and stranger every day.

Obama is a good President.
Obama isn't a childish race baiting fraud.
The economy is strong.
Obama's foreign policy is effective.
Obama has a clearly defined plan of action for his second term and it's working well.
All in the world of the Obama supporter of course.......

Hopefully we will not end up in a huge big mess. But watch, Obama gladly take all the credit! something he does best. Something he does not do, is to accept responsibility and accountability. Plays the blame game to a T.
Possibly it was Obama that thought Putin would be a logical choice as "savior". A plan they put together at the G20 perhaps? Would Russia be engaging if Putin were not perceived to be the arbiter of a workable plan? Some people actually think Kerry had a "slip of the tongue" in London ... please??

Bush did the very same thing, and when you people stop fighting and realize, we've been taking advantage of and lied to for years, maybe things will change. It isn't about your party, it's about government corruption that has been going on for years....please wake up and stop fighting amongst yourselves, but more importantly, stop, stop stop supporting corruption, stand up and fight for what is right....Obama is not a good President, neither was Bush....or the president before that, WE ARE NOT DEFINED BY OUR POLITICAL PARTY. WE HAVE TO STOP THIS.

He was too weak and indecisive to deal with the Syria situation when it started. He dithered and did nothing while it steadily worsened as month after month went by and people died by the thousands.

Then when questioned about it he made his "red line" comment trying to get a good sound bite and score political points in the moment. And then when the attack was made and the red line was crossed, his bluff was called he was too weak to promptly deal with it in a responsible manner.

This resulted in a long drawn out news cycle where his credibility and leadership was called into question. So he'd painted himself into a corner. And being the same Obama who sent a filmmaker to prison for a year rather than admit he covered up a terrorist attack, he was willing to launch a military strike to save his own credibility.

It's really not that hard to understand.

Most Americans don't realize that our rogue Government trained and funded Osama Bin Laden who would form the Taliban. Most Americans don't realize how close the Bush family is with the Bin Ladens, who are a very oil rich Saudi family, and were swiftly flown out of the country on 9/11 when nobody else was allowed to fly.

Americans don't realize that our rogue Government put Saddam Hussein in power and aided him with critical intel in order to gas Iranians throughout the 1980's. We were complicit in those attacks even though the chemical warfare was worse than what recently happened in Syria.

Most Americans would not be very patriotic if they realized all the actions of our leaders and rogue Govt./Military. Whoever the Rebels are that our politicians so desperately want us to fund and arm will probably be the next "enemy number one" to turn on The US of A.

Krauthammer never gives Obama credit for anything, didn't hear his solution to this situation. This is a win for all if it goes through, we avoided war and more instability in Syria, Jordan and Turkey. Maybe Krauthammer didn't notice but the rebels don't disappear with this solution and maybe at some point there is a peaceful removal of Assad.

The plan was put together by Obama and Putin at the G20. Let Putin look like the "savior" ergo, Russia can engage in easing the Syria gassing issue.

PBS is now tweeting that Syria has accepted the plan.
