If by "ignorant" you mean "prophetic", then I agree. He predicted exactly what the Democrats ended up doing in using black people for votes without actually setting up conditions for them to improve their lives.
It's not the job of political parties to set up advantageous conditions to improve your life. That's for individuals to do.

It's not better, unless you consider 80 Million people on food stamps better than before ... or being unable to board an airplane without being sexually molested better ... or buy clean food that is not going to slowly destroy you from the inside out ... or be forced to enroll in a sick care system that needs to be ripped apart and reformed from the ground up and the top down, rather than just FORCE people to accept the current one that creates it's own customers with so-called "treatments" .... you're getting the "treatment" alright. And I could go on to say, one war is bad ... but 3 wars is better? Cars that now cost what houses used to cost .. YAY!!!!!! Oh yes, things are so much better

WAH!!! Please explain to all of us why anytime a person of color complains about injustices they are called "racists, and instrument used to divide or playing the race card"? I guess it was better when folks could round up a couple of "good ole' boys" and have a tree party without a complaint. Wrong .... "Democrat" is the proper noun .... which includes the party or the individual members .... "democratic" describes a political process that supposedly both republicans and democrats follow.
This you should be able to test out in a sentence all by yourself ...
Using this sentence as a guide .... "The republican party is comprised of individual members who refer to themselves as republicans" ... which one of the following two sentences do you believe demonstrates proper grammar?:
1) "The Democrat party is comprised of individual members who refer to themselves as Democrats"
or
2) "The Democratic party is comprised of individual members who refer to themselves as Democratics"
The choice is obvious, so I suggest that you ought to make sure you get it right first, before trying to correct others.
So, is that what Texas schooling is teaching these days? I grew up in south Texas, worked polling places in the early 80s when the Republcans were starting to take hold. I NEVER heard them referred to them as the "Democrat party" when they were the dominant party in Tex. It wasn't until the talk show radio craze began that the term "Democrat party" came into vogue. It's like some kinda "secret code" (but not so secret) that the neanderthal rush limbaugh types use frequently to act "cute" like the way that they used to do "witch's honor" on the old Bewitched show.. In your example, "PARTY" is the noun and Republican or Democratic is the adjective that describes the noun. It's only a proper noun when it's standing alone.
