What two leaders promised to help the people, the common man.

Looked to Fascist European countries as role models.

Promoted race and class division among the people. Using propaganda via their media, they branded part of the population as monsters.

Backed by the unions.

Gave the people a scapegoat, and promised “hope and change”.

Preaches hatred of the intellectual “elites”.

Uses propaganda to make it appear they are making progress. Their unemployment numbers are exaggerated, and of course the economic problems are continually blamed on someone else.

The techniques had worked throughout the ages in persuading poor and working class people to enthusiastically vote for policies that would take resources away from the wealthy. They knew that by doing so, they would be able to turn the working class majority against the unpopular minority. The poor, working class people believed that somehow, by pulling down the wealthiest, it would elevate the poorest.

You forgot, about conquering the world, with every man and boy enlisted in the military.

This shows how educated you are about world leaders, how they manipulate people and the results. The exact reason you fall victim to them.

Oh Lord, I hope not. Don't need any more modern day hippies complaining about the government.

You sound *precisely* like the silly liberals who were comparing Bush to Hitler, back in the day.

But go on then. I look forward to your ridiculous comparisons between the SA and the New Black Panthers; between Kristallnacht and the Boston Marathon bombings; between the Nuremberg Laws and Obamacare; and between Leavenworth and Auschwitz.

It'll also be fun to watch you argue til you're blue in the face that Obama will absolutely positively not leave office on 1/20/2017 like he's supposed to.
