There are several reasons why this happens. For one, people who are artistic tend to be more liberal. I've worked with artists and they are overwhelmingly Democrats or even more liberal. Second, many of the people who run studios or power people are Democratic in Hollywood. There are conservative and Republicans (and contrary to belief are not always the same thing)in Hollywood just not as many.

I don't get why any American would be against or want to silence another American from practicing their 1st Amendment rights just because they disagree with what they're saying... Please explain this to me? So what if you're annoyed by what they have to say... Just like they have a right to say it, you have a right to not listen to it. I'm sure they're just as annoyed when they hear Conservatives talk.

Furthermore, a lot of them are from Canada.

Say no more... Why haven't we elected this man to be president yet? He loves (in more ways than one) minorities, the Handicapped, and animals... Sounds like my type of guy.

Some celebrities are substantially more informed on some issues, than the average congressman. Others not so much. Not sure why anyone cares what a celebrity thinks or not.

You don't think it's just a bit hypocritical to move somewhere so you can pay less in taxes while at the same time campaigning to increase taxes for everyone else? Of course you don't, liberals never acknowledge their hypocrisy.

Does Hollywood campaign for higher state taxes in California?
