Screw up one State then move to the next.
I read today in the the GJ Sentinel that a Quinnipiac University poll suggested that 52 percent of voters disapproved of Hickenloopers gun policy while only 35 percent approved.
Our Constitutional rights should not be at the whim of a poll result.
My guns have harmed no one.
I don't know why the people so hell bent on gun control don't focus their efforts on punishing criminals harsher are more expediently?
There are all our rights. If you choose not to agree with them and not exercise them, fine.
Hey guys, the reason all the gun-control talk went away is exactly because of scenarios like this.
They came out, blamed guns, talked big and then moved on because the reality of the situation is that gun violence is an URBAN problem and in the NON-URBAN parts of the US the gun violence problem is no worse than Canada and most european countries etc.
Also, the democrats have a plethora of retiring senators in rural states and they are praying that by 2014 all the gun talk has been muted or forgotten because most independent polling orgs show them losing a lot of Senate seats, but probably not enough to lose control of the senate.
Basically, the gun talk is posturing but if it gets out of hand they start losing senate and house seats. <shrug> I guess no one remembers what happened to Daaschle.
Well its certainly good news that these two imbeciles were thrown out of office. Kudos to the people but we have to watch the courts to ensure they remain uncorrupted and don't seek to circumvent the will of the people.
This will make the extremists think twice about kow towing to the radicals of the party and not caring about their constituents.
Other than showing that voter surpression works, it does nothing to the State Laws. The gun manufacturers and their lobby group nra, won nothing.
