So federal employees out of work are going to get "back pay" for the time they didn't come to work? WHY in the hell is that? Any of the people that work to pay their wages don't get the same treatment. If my company has a downterm and I'm temporarily laid off, I sign up for unemployement, put in a waiting week with no pay and then get about 20% of my normal pay. Why in the heck are government employees treated so much better than the producing class? This kind of stuff has to stop.

So go get a federal job and stop whining about it.

It's called accountability and it's actually nice seeing it considering how childish this whole thing is.
People were ready and willing to work, and their business was shut down through no fault of their own.
I have been in private companies that do the same thing when problems happen. Water mains break, computer systems are damaged, even a fire....this isn't something new or never done.

The 350,000 people a WEEK that are laid off on average every week are ready and willing to work, but can't through no fault of their own.
When your company has NO MONEY, you don't work, you don't get paid.
So go get a federal job and stop whining about it.
deflect much? Someone actually has to produce the money that the federal government spends. Again, why are government workers treated so much better than producers?

The vast majority of people in the private sector see no such generosity. When business is closed, they aren't handed money for staying home, and when the business doesn't have work for them and lays them off...they go on UE.
